Sadly not, because October was start of new fiscal year for USCIS and the case number changes, so i didnt download them.

Congratulations!

 

We're at 429 days now and going. I'm starting to think it's not because "some cases take longer than others."

Sorry if this is a dumb question (or in the wrong thread) but what happens after NOA2 / initial application is accepted? 

 

Should I (the foreigh fiancee) wait to be contacted by the US embassy in my country? And how long should it typically take?

 

I am in the process of gathering the materials for "What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):" as described here

Finally, yesterday after 439 days (1 year, 2 months, and 3 days)... we got our NOA2!! Our RFE was on 7/11 so 23 days total wait to approval. We are so happy and relieved!! One step closer to being married. To anyone still waiting, hold on to hope!

It depends on your country and your consulate but usually you need to wait for the NVC case number and instructions from the consulate. The timeframes vary based on location. You better follow you regional subforums, you can find a more specific info there :)

The NVC case number and instructions is something the consolate (or in my case embassy I guess, I'm in the UK) contact me (the alien fiancee) with?
