Hello my dear sufferers, I honestly dont know how to call you at this point :D, wait has been so long.

Good news is that the March was best month with regard to processing of cases in long time, so capacity is definitely increasing. Many of these cases are expedites requests probably related to Ukraine.

Sad news is that starting mid March, there is huge number of case withdrawals, in one week ok April we had over 40 withdrawals (across all ranges), so it seems that wait is taking its tool on many couples.

Sadly due to all this situation with Expedites, I assume that we May filers will probably wait for 12+ Months, and that USCIS will start processing our cases some time in second half of May.

One other dreadful thing is that, still today there is over 400 March (untouched NOA1) cases that have been more or less left behind, and their processing is proceeding is at average of 5-10 cases per day, which is crazy slow. Honestly I dread such situation.

On the other hand, they have started processing old backlog of cases from 2020, so I saw some movement it old November December 2020. They have also been processing some old RFEs from early 2021.

People say that you should always and on a happy and optimistic note, but at this point there is only one thing to be happy aboutand taht is.

just be thankful that you didnt submit after May, because if situation continues like this, people who submited after May will probably wait for 14+ Months. USCIS is utterly broken...

Maybe they're clearing up the backlogs so they can begin processing faster? If they went back and finished up older cases, completed expedited requests, maybe the plan is to move forward to finish up March soon and push through April. I'm a June filer, so I'm really hoping things pick up.  Hopefully they're trying to move back to a 12 month timeline soon....

I like your Name :D, but it is difficulty to stay optimistic. Sadly USCIS has managed to disappoint every time. For last 4.5 Months they have been processing cases from March 2021. Lets hope steam picks up. You can do basic calculation, when ever they process less than 130 Cases per day (RFE+Case approvals/denials), backlog grows. From the chart above, you can just add red and blue bar and dived it trough number of working days to see what the raw processing rate is(example May=> (283+374)/6= 109).
