Does anyone know if there are any special circumstances where they can speed up the process??

Here are the criteria. Its very hard to get your case expedited. Most of the expedited cases currently are Ukranian cases and fall under the emergency and humanitarian reason.

Well processing has been stable in last two weeks, they do around 100-110cases per day across all ranges (less than last month that had 120-130 average), but it seems they do lots of processing for expedites (probably Ukraine related) for example they have worked on around 250 cases from June-September 2021 range.  Since the processing rate seems to be decreasing again, we (May 2021) will probably see first cases being processed in first week of May, if nothing changes. Sadly this means that many of us will probably wait for 12+ Months. Only good thing is that April is a small month and May also very small. People who submitted after June 2021, are probably looking at 14-16 Month wait period. And if processing rate doesn't change (they need around 130 cases per day just to keep backlog from growing), those who file case in 2022 are probably going to wait for 18+ Months, which is insane.

Thank you for the charts.

Really appreciate it.

I'm trying not to look at the forum everyday, since the slow pace is affecting me mentally, but I'll try to check every 2 weeks or so.

I'll be looking for your chart updates, lol.
