Hello we are about to file our form i751 in June, I’m getting really nervous since we are living with my parents while we save up for a down payment on a house so we don’t have any lease or mortgage or any utility bills together. The things we do have are about 2 years of joint checking account statements and over a year of joint savings account statements, car insurance together, photos with family and trips together, joint credit cards, affidavits, drivers license showing same address and I’m going to start a life insurance policy with my wife as beneficiary. Do you think this is enough? Again sorry for the long question.

Thank you I completely forgot to add the joint tax returns to my original post.

do yourself a favor and put some tax transcripts instead. They are one page and no need for w-2.  You might end up with some Trump lover at USCIS leftover from last administration  that will like us, make your life miserable while other filers left and right get their 10y GC with no problems.

Have your parents write signed and dated letter with contact phone numbers explaining the living arrangemnt. This is very common that a young couple is saving money for  a place of their own and staying with parents.

I would include your W2 and 1099 documents issued to each of you during the marriage as they show income and **your home address is on them**. Along with joint tax return transcripts.

Include copies of your state issued ID/driver's licenses with a common home address for each of you.

You can include mail address to each of you received at your home address and addressed to both of you to your home.

Tickets/receipts for travel together

Joint insurance docs health, car, life

Retirement account beneficiary

Employer emergency contact info.
