Hello all, I've been resident for 5 years and during the additional evidence section of n400 I added tax return forms but I realized that on 2018 occupation section it says that I'm student. I was in 2017 but not in 2018. We do our tax return with a 3rd party company. The lady knows us since we do it every year with her. So I'm just assuming she made a mistake. Now I'm worried what if uscis thinks that I'm was lying on tax return. I don't know what to do now. Thank you

I don’t think it’s a big problem. I also did the same using TurboTax. I switched jobs this year so no longer in that role and submitted it for my N400. But I don’t think it’ll hinder your application in any way! At least you filed!!

Thanks a lot! I made a research that says whatever you put there doesn't effect the amount of money you get or pay but just don't want them to think that I was trying to scam irs in any way lol

In the past I’ve only included the first two pages and taken the whole pack to the interview (touch wood) has never been questioned lol I wouldn’t worry too much about it!

I don't believe it will be problem as it pertains to naturalization. I don't even think it will be a problem even with IRS as long as your reported your income correctly.

Yes income and everything is correct. Thank you!
