Timeline

my fiancée has an interview tomorrow morning for the k 1 visa and we didn't get the police record in time, they told us to pick it up Monday may 3,2021. should he still go and will it affect him getting approve, im very nervous about the whole situation.

Yes, he should still go.  They will conduct the interview and he will be issued a 221g, pending receipt of the police record.  It is not uncommon for this to happen with outstanding medical, police records, etc.

 

During his interview he should confirm with the officer how to best deliver the police record when it's available.  Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for a decision after that.  Best of luck.

He can still go to his interview, they will request the police certificate and he can submit it later.  It just adds to the timeframe that the visa is issued.  

Phase I - IV - Completed the Immigration Journey

They may or may not keep the passport.  Questions are typically going to be about your relationship.

Yes he should still go, most definitely.

For sure they will give him his passport back, wait for the records, then process it, then ask for his passport again. Expect at least another 1 and half month before getting the visa. 😞

He should attend, he will receive a form asking for it, and can pick it up and submit it after the interview.  They may or may not keep his passport.
