Hello! I have question how much should be my income on the W-2 to be able to sponsor my fiance.

What is the 125 of poverty guidelines! The requirements on my case only me and my fiance the 125 poverty guidelines is $21,775, the question is the minimum $21,775 what I make on w-2 Form or it is after standard deduction on tax return???

Another question if I not meet the minimum income requirements on my tax by only $2000,  example let say minimum income requirement on my case is $21,775 and I make only $19,775 so I am under minimum income requirement in short of $2,000 only but I have in my checking account $10,000 is it good??

Thanks for any one how could help me with these questions.

I would advise that if you are very close to the minimum with your adjusted gross income you should look at getting a joint sponsor lined up.  Just meeting the minimum often times is not enough to satisfy a CO as they have discretion in their decision.

Good Luck!
