221g status change refused to ready.

My husband had an interview March 25th. He was given yellow 221g. We were out under AP. Yesterday his case said “ready”. I’ve read that this is common in many cases. How long does it take to hear a response? Could anyone shed light from their experience.

I’m going through basically the same thing. Mine changed from refused to ready a week ago. Let me know if you get any updates!

no updates yet, case still says “Ready” our lawyer sent a message and the embassy replied “your case is still currently under administrative processing”. How about yourself?

I’m still on ready. It’s good that you’ve heard that you’re in AP and don’t actually need another interview!

Hang in there 😥. The only thing that I noticed was that the case date updated 3 times throughout us waiting.

here is our mini timeline if that helps: 

March 26: pending

march 29: refused 
april 30: ready

may 04: ready

may 10: ready

March 29: consulate emailed and said I’m in AP, still refused. 
updated a few more times as refused (don’t have the dates) 

April 27: ready

May 3: ready

So I had the our immigration lawyer message the embassy and I personally have messaged the embassy as well. However, We both get the same response “your case is currently under AP, once we have new information concerning your case we will send you an email with an update.” It’s frustrating but I guess we have nothing but to wait 😞

The consulate emailed me this morning. I quote - 

 

Good morning,

 

We have completed the administrative processing in your case. A Consular officer will review your visa application as we will provide an update on your case as soon as the review is complete.

not sure what this even means right now. Status is still at ready and date hasn’t changed from May 3

😯!! Well I guess that could be a good sign. The positive take back is that your no longer in AP. 😊. Keep me posted with the follow up from the consular. On a side note the the CEAC website never updates that quick. But hopefully it’s a good thing. *fingers crossed*

Changed to issued (but under AP) on Tuesday. Today changed to issued (in final processing). Exciting news but waiting for the best - printed and on its way!

Super happy for you both! That’s awesome news! 
unfortunately our status is still “ready” and the case date has not updated from May 10. 😞 hopefully soon we will get the same good news.
