I-130 Information about beneficiary in native written language

We just typed in my step-son's name and address in Cyrillic (in our case) in a Word file, saved it as a PDF and uploaded it.  As to Peru if Spanish is your beneficiary's native language and I believe Spanish uses the same alphabet as English with one additional character, you may not need to do this.  The easiest thing to do is have your beneficiary type their name and address as they would if writing to another native speaker and if it looks the same as it would in English, I think you are good.

Good Luck!

Thanks, Dashinka! Another question. When uploading Spanish language documents (like our marriage certificate) which require English translations, do you know if it is ok for me to do the translations myself, or do I need to use a professional/certified translator?

If you are proficient in both languages, you can do the translation yourself or get one of those $20 agencies. I know a few. They send it within 48 hrs

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

1.  I copied and pasted my wife's native language name and address.

2.  Anyone fluent in both languages can translate and certify translated document.  Just make sure you include this proper certification statement:

Can anyone tell me what kind of information (and in what format) should be included in this part of the I-130 application?130.thumb.png.43978570a4e77ebcd99daed4ec607fc2.png

This is not applicable to the Spanish language, as it uses the Roman letters/alphabet.  ABC etc. are the Roman alphabet.  Pay attention to works like "if" and interpret them literally.

Spanish language uses Roman letters (abc's) so not applicable.
