Gap in addresses due to travelling

We are applying for the k1 visa and while filling out the petition it requires both out addresses from the past 5 years.

However there is a gap for a period of a year and a half when we were both travelling through the states, Canada and Asia and ONLY traveling but we were in USA and CA for around 10 months. Has anyone else been in a similar scenario? We were shy of the USA for 2 days before the 6 month point would I also need a police report?

You don't ever need a police report for the usa

YMMV

You still had a permanent address, though. Even though you were traveling. What address did your bank hold for you? Or your cell phone provider? You weren’t homeless so you had an address. Having an address doesn’t mean you sleep there every single night. It just means that’s where you had your things, where you received mail, and where you returned after your travels.
