Hello all,

My husband recently had an interview for his visa on March 25th at the US embassy in Guatemala. During his interview the officer told him he needed his police record called “ministero público” followed by giving him a yellow 221g slip. The same day we turned in the document to the Dropbox provided and since then we have been waiting for a response and have not heard anything. The first email I sent the embassy replied “ due to backlog your case is in line to be reviewed by an oficial” then a week later we emailed again “ it said your case is undergoing an internal administrative process please be patient” can any one shed light on how long this can take or anyone have a similar experience. Desperate wife. Please and thank you

We have our attorney messaging the embassy to verify what’s going on, tomorrow she is going to shed some light hopefully whatever she tells us will help you as well. 🤞

Please update me as well
