Hello, according to the US Embassy website in Kiev, they are still not doing routine visitor visa interviews. Does anyone have an idea as to when they might resume? My wife's mother has been wanting to come visit, but I've said it's not possible due to the informatin on their website. Is this accurate? It's such a shame, her daughter and grandson have been living in the US for over two years now and she's never had the opportunity to vist.

Thanks for any information!

I would say the most up to date info on visa interviews will be what you find on the consulate’s website.

Might be easier for them to go visit her.

The US Embassy's website will have the latest information on what they are doing.  You're not going to find a better place for information than that.  No one will have any idea when things will resume.  You have to keep checking the US Embassy's website for the latest and most accurate public information.

I have been to the Embassy in Kyiv a week ago to get a K1 visa. It looks like they are not processing B1/B2 at all, not a single person who was there was a tourist or a visitor. Mostly nato/humanitarian/student visas. (I talked to some people, and while waiting for the interview I heard how the receptionist was asking every person to present their medical ID) Sorry mate...

But this one definitely represents what's going on:

The day they started processing K visas in Kyiv, we could see the changes on that page.
