Hi everyone, is the I-134 requirements still 100% or has it gone up to 125%? I know I-864 is 125%. My income was a little lower last year, it's back up this year with all the overtime I work, but I don't have a way to prove it besides paystubs..my employer only verifies employment through fax and my salary goes into a prepaid account.  I was slightly under the 125% last year (Covid related) If I add my entire household income (my mom lives with me) then we are fine, but I can't add her income to the I-134, I can only add it to the I-864...just trying to get some clarification, thank you.

Big advantage with London is the beneficiary can self sponsor

I should clarify, I made well over the 100%, I was just slightly under the 125% last year.

he realizes it will be a long time before he can work? Current come is the one that counts.

Yeah, he's aware. We'll be okay, we live in a low cost of living state and I try to keep our expenses low, I just had a rough year last year.

It’s 100% and basically up to the officer. I’m not quite following this that you said —

“but I don't have a way to prove it besides paystubs..my employer only verifies employment through fax and my salary goes into a prepaid account.”

Can’t you provide year to date pay stubs?

I'm sorry for being confusing. I absolutely have pay stubs, just not the letter of employment that I can present.   I made over the 100% last year, just not the 125% due to a change in jobs (due to covid) so my salary for 2020 was a little less.

I understand that. Your tax return does not have to show enough if you can prove it with pay stubs. I just didn’t understand the reason why you couldn’t get an employer letter. A fax is fine.

It's just hard to get a letter from them, but I went back and found my original offer letter, and just wrote on there that I make two dollars more than when I started out in November and I'll have my paystubs to add to this. Sorry for all the confusion, we're just trying to make sure all our I's are dotted and T's are crossed so there are no more delays and disappointment. Thank you so much again.
