Hello,

I am peruvian/american citizen in Lima. I live here with my peruvian husband and peruvian/American daughter.

I’m planning to move back to US, as soon as possible in the next few months. My husband has American tourist visa.

I made some research about both forms. I l understand I can file i130 online, but i485 must be sent by mail.

Since we are here and I want to start the process asap to make it faster, what should I do? Submit i130 online, and mail i485 almost at the same time? We should wait here for approval? Should I send both and move to US and wait there?

Us embassy in Lima is not working at all, they are just useless and appointments they are giving are insane.

whats my best option to get his paperwork asap?
TIA

You don't file I-485 if you're abroad.

Follow the guide below

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

You can file I-130, but not I-485. I-485 is AOS and it for the person already in the US.

The I-485 is not appropriate in your case since you both are now outside the US.  In addition, he cannot enter the US via a tourist visa with the intent to stay and adjust status with an I-485.  You must follow the spousal visa process as posted by @Timona which begins by your filing an I-130 .

The process will take roughly 2 years.  The term "ASAP" is measured differently from what you might think in US immigration language.  Good luck.

You might qualify for Direct Consular Filing if you have exceptional circumstances.

FYI, it wont be fast. It will take 1-2 years before the process completes.  The only thing you can speed up is start the paper work and file them correctly. Everything else is out of your control

Your best option is to file the I 130 asap and keep your fingers crossed things will speed up.

Depending on the severity of your need to complete the process faster than others, you may qualify for an expedite or even consular filing if the circumstances are very exceptional.

Bear in mind that the fact that you are living together overseas already puts you in an enviable position for many others who are waiting patiently apart for a year or more just to be able to live together.
