WASHINGTON — The FBI is suspending the security clearances of employees who attended the rally before last year’s Capitol riot, according to a prominent Republican congressman.

 

The alleged punishment is drawing accusations that FBI staffers who aren’t charged with crimes are having their First Amendment rights trampled.

The FBI’s move was described in a Friday letter from the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee.

Wow!  What a powerful message right there.  I had hoped the prices had peaked......but even at Walmart,  here in Rowlett, Texas, regular octane was $3.94 a couple days ago.   I've seen diesel as high as $5.25.

Is this for real?  Honestly, I have tuned out Biden and Harris except for the occasional sound bite I hear on the radio.  I heard Biden is supposed to give a speech on inflation today, are new numbers due out soon?

Still haven't paid $4/gal yet personally (last inflationary time or now), but the stations are sure advertising it.  Lucky that my Sunoco-branded credit card gives 5 cents off per gallon (this last time, was it 10 cents?) at the Sunoco pump.
