Republicans don’t sell out to Trans-Canada at the expense of Texans like your partner up there.
Nothing spells MAGA like a post quoting TC interests as a reason for his high gas prices to a Texan who spends 100% of 35 years extracting every penny of value possible from bbls of crude oil LOL.  What a fail 😂

Since you’ve lost track I’ll remind you once again.

Conservative, Republican, Texan, Free, Independent = seat polishers in Washington do NOT determine your outcome.

Gotta love it when people online make such broad-brushing assumptions.  If you had reviewed any of my posts you would have seen I could not care less about abortions up to and even after birth if the mother so desires.  What I do care about is corruption of the ruling class of this country which apparently you do not.  No worries, maybe you are all for government corruption I for one will never support an incumbent that is not term-limited regardless of party.

out?

Promises promises.

De-federalizing stuff that shouldn’t be federalized is a fantastic accomplishment. America is a loose federation of 50 countries, and we are each free to live in the country that suits us the most. If your state forces rape victims to give birth, you can solve this at polling booth or a few clicks on your uHaul app.

Keystone XL would have given America effective control over all of Alberta’s remaining exploitable oil. As a natural born Albertan I prefer to have Houston oil companies control my oil than that scum creep  Justin Castreau.

Seems like you prefer blood oil from the people who architected 9/11 versus Alberta oil.

Number of Albertan billionaires who fund terrorism in USA: zero

Number of OPEC billionaires who fund terrorism in USA: countless

Anyway oil is so last century. My Tesla runs on coal mined in America by an American for an American.  The dirtier the coal the better as far as I am concerned. It might be dirty but it doesn’t fund terrorism or slavery.

Would rather see black clouds from coal burning power plants  than smoke from burning skyscrapers knocked down by oil terrorists.

Coal: the fuel of the future.

Correct.  This is one of the most misunderstood principles in the US Constitution... States' rights.

I agree with you, but state government also should not overstep. Personally I think believing in limited government on the federal level but being okay with infringing on freedoms/rights at the state level is bizarre. There are 100 reasons why it is difficult to move states, so it's not as simple as packing up the U-Haul (referring to Mike's comment above).

This is why I do not agree with things like individual states trying to make gay marriage illegal or making abortion illegal carte blanche. These are very personal decisions that individuals should be able to make without government interference, regardless of if it is at the state level.

Political issues aside (no one is going to change another person's opinion, imo), my point is that many people don't understand how this association of states was designed and setup.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution (Government), nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
