A week ago the Biden administration announced that it had approved an expansion of the license to Chevron so they could resume oil production in Venezuela.  [...]

Of course it is Chevron.

After the February 1, 2021 coup (timed to kick off after Trump left office so that a true friend of despots would be in charge of the White House) activists across the world (including the wife of yours truly and yours truly) spent months picketing Chevron sites to pressure  them to stop operating in Burma.

We succeeded and Chevron pulled out. With no help from Biden.

Now these cretins are doing new business with another brutal dictator and this time with Biden’s explicit blessing.

If you want to see more Venezuelans perish in the desert of southern Arizona this is how you see more Venezuelans perish in the desert of southern Arizona.

Those of you who still live in the SF Bay Area should visit  Chevron’s beautiful San Ramon campus.  Bought and paid  for by  Chevron fat cats and Democrat lobbyists who steal oil from people who live under brutal dictators.

Biden is beyond disgusting

I wonder if Old Joe is going to impose a price cap for Venezuelan oil as well?

Even NPR and the Graun are finding it difficult to justify

It sucks on many levels.  Trading a known terrorist arms dealer for a woman who hates Amerika.

But I try to soothe my nerves by telling myself that it's better than releasing 5 terrorists for one US military deserter.  A little.

You live in the People's Republic of Michigan, run by Comrade Half-Whitmer.

You live in the United Socialist States of AmeriKKKa, led by Bidementia.

Sounds like you're in some trouble already...

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Apparently it was Biden’s choice for Griner over Whelen.

Earlier today, Andrea Mitchell of NBC — this is someone who's been in Washington covering news for more than 50 years, someone who is deeply supportive of the Joe Biden administration — contributed to a story that contained this line: "The Kremlin gave the White House the choice of either Griner or Whelan — or none." So Mitchell's piece attributed this fact to a "senior U.S. official." It was not a guess. It was sourced. And then, as with the early reporting on Paul Pelosi last month, that account was scrubbed and sanitized, and the new version of the NBC story assures us that: "The Kremlin ultimately gave the White House the choice of either Griner or no one."

Biden Calls For $50 Billion To Help Ukraine Track Down Notorious Russian Arms Dealer

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On the heels of a much-publicized prisoner exchange involving WNBA basketball player Brittney Griner, the Biden Administration issued a call for an urgent need to help Ukraine hunt for a notorious Russian arms dealer known as the "Merchant of Death," who is now believed to be on the loose.

"We have now learned from our ally President Zelensky that a dangerous Russian arms dealer has been freed and poses a grave threat," President Joe Biden said in a prepared statement. "We simply cannot allow this person to continue operating freely. Sending an additional $50 billion in aid to Ukraine will allow us to bring this ‘Merchant of Death' guy to justice."
