Social security is a ponzi scheme. We should be allowed to opt out. If the average person took what they pay into social security over their lifetime and invested it in conservative mutual funds they would be a millionaire when they retire. Instead most people get the government run Alpo retirement plan. Meaning you eat dog food so you can afford your rent.

I don't disagree.  Unfortunately, I have never had the option of "opting out".  However, it appears that all that money I paid in might very well never come back to me at all.  Truly THE most effective ponzi scheme ever, since I cannot take those who fleeced me to court.

Heck, 20 years ago, I knew the money being forcibly removed from my paycheck was never going to be returned to me in any fashion.  Could have had several millions in an investment account, but instead it is money thrown away.  Gotta love government.

However, recovery is being blunted by the unconditional welfare payments and other such policies.

Biden is becoming known as a puppet who only moves when his strings are pulled.  The rest of the time, he naps in the basement.  Just like he did for 10 months on the "campaign trail", where he "won by a landslide".

The overall paths may be different, (Carter a micromanager vs. Biden’s team of Ivy League “intellectuals”), but the results seem to be heading in the same direction.
