Biden Takes More Vacation As A Reward For Doing Such A Good Job This Week

 

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After doing such a good job at being President this week, Biden is treating himself to some more well-deserved vacation time to reward himself for his really hard work. 

 

"Yeah that was a humdinger of a speech I gave just now," said Biden as Marine One took off to head back to Camp David. "I'll bet the American people are really inspired and impressed with my very good job. And seeing as how nothing is really going on in the world at the moment, I think it's time to head back to Camp David and put these old feet in the pool! Maybe a kid will come and rub my hairy legs--who knows!"

While I don't disagree with the sentiment, let's be honest... this mess today is as much Obama's fault as it is Biden's.  Obama promoted and financially supported this current fiasco.

I'll agree he was given a ####### sandwich made over 20 years when he came into office.  However, rather than trying to improve it, he threw it into an industrial fan for political purposes.

 

Now we airlifting Afghanis, whole and in pieces, out of the country.

I can't argue with you on that point. We killed OSB and we should have left. The war is not unlike Vietnam in that regard. I think we need to have a talk about how to avoid these wars in the future.

 

That said with Trillions and 20 years to plan, did we not have an exit strategy that includes provision for getting the people who supported us out of the country safely?

Not really sure it was a war like Vietnam.  How many battlefield casualties did the US armed forces suffer in the last 2 years?  As to the exit strategy, from reports, there was one, but Old Senile Joe had a different idea and now we are in this mess with people falling from airplanes, bodies crushed in wheel wells, and the Taliban metering in folks to an inadequate airport.  I wonder how much more money Joe will have to send to get the USCs past the Taliban check points.  As to our Afghani allies there, they may be better off trying to cross the border as I don't see the Taliban allowing them to leave.

 

This is Joe's mess, and he said the buck stops with him.  Maybe he should resign based on this mess, but instead, he is heading out for a nice five day weekend with Dr. Jill.

It certainly is a mess. Other nations like the UK are sending rescue missions for their citizens while our state department issues statements saying US citizens are on their own. This is more than a failure. It is neglect and an impeachable offense in my opinion.

There are reports in the media that Joe let the State Department take the lead in this debacle.  Well, at least we handed over an $800 million dollar embassy to the Taliban.  In the end, it is quite obvious that Joe and his Administration does not care about USCs either here, or abroad, and our reputation amongst our staunches allies is taking a huge beating.

Yeah, he qualified that statement, and of course said nothing about the foreign allies that also want to get out.  Also, what the heck does this statement mean?  Will they determine who is left on August 31 and determine if they should be left on their ow?

Why is the state department telling US citizens they are on their own to get to the airport and if they somehow manage to get there they aren't guaranteed a flight out? Meanwhile the UK is sending troops out to assist their citizens in getting to the airport. I know people in the military including my brother. I am being told by them that rank and file US troops are upset that they aren't being allowed to rescue US citizens. My brother fought in Afghanistan and he feels like the way this is being handled is the equivalent of Biden p*ssing on the graves of his friends who died over there. So I could care less what Biden or politico has to say about it as the situation on the ground is very different from what they are saying.

Particularly when Biden is directly contradicting his military leaders.  To paraphrase his response to George S., 'there was no way this was going to happen without chaos', while the defense idiots were saying no one could have predicted the situation and the speed of the Taliban.  Of course there are a lot of insiders saying Milley and Austin and Sleepy Joe are just blowing smoke as everyone with knowledge saw this coming.  Still have no idea why the US military closed up Bagram and snuck out in the middle of the night.

There is no way to spin this that does not make Biden, The Intelligence  community, military  and the State Dept look like fools. I just saw a 2 star giving a briefing. They asked what plans the Military had to keep the treasure trove of weapons from failing into the Taliban's hands.  He answred. I dont know

 

Oddly enough the very communities that let this happen were constantly odds with Trump
