Our Case is F4

Initial interview was in Nov 2019.  We got 221g for petitioner domicile.  We were asked to establish petitioner domicile.  So buying house opening bank accounts ID credit card and other items took 3-4 month.  We submitted our docs in April 2020 ban was in force.  We gto a reply from consulate in Dec 2020 that our Docs were accepted and we were asked to refill DS-260 on CEAC.  It has additional question than our original submission.

Our recent timeline is as follows:

Mar 8: Sent an enquiry to Embassy about case status.

Apr 12 Embassy requested New Medicals and Photographs (via CEAC upload)

Apr 16 : Medical were completed

Apr 22 : Medical package was received from Wilcare

I saw two status updates on CEAC.  Once on Apr 12th and other today on Apr 22nd.  It still say refused.

Can some one share their experience after submitting 2nd medical to Islamabad embassy and how updates work on CEAC? An when can we expect to receive visa.

Thank you,

Hello guys ,

I’d like to share my situation with you just to get any help ,

my interview was on may 5th ir1 , the CO asked few questions and it was easy and smooth interview then he gave me the congrats letter and they kept my passport , he told me they will print the visa within 3 weeks.
after I left the embassy by 3 hours they sent me an email to fill out a form ds5535 and send it to them plus a copy my wife’s passport.
I did in the same day I noticed that my status shows refused

after 5 days they sent my passport back by the shipping COMPANY

then after 2 weeks I got a call from the embassy she told me to send my passport back to the embassy the girl told me that the AP is finished and they are ready to print the visa I did in the same day I got a verification from the shipping company that the embassy received the passport , may 18

Since that date there’s no update on my case at CEAC website

I just want to ask is it normal ? And how long does it take to print it or at least see any update on my case ?

You are posting in the South Asia forum, I would recommend making a separate post and posting it in the Middle East / North Africa forum.

Also, did you expedite your case or were you a part of the lawsuit against the Cairo embassy?
