Hello friends,

My husband has a medical scheduled for April 26. He does not have his vaccine record - so will likely need all new vaccines - he is fine with this.

However, he is in between COVID-19 vaccine #1 and #2. He is scheduled to get the 2nd COVID shot on May 6th - day of the interview.

This means he should not get any other vaccines in the meantime.

So what happens?

What crazy times and circumstances!

Thanks for any input.

Hi! My IR1 visa came with an annotation - 212 (g) (2) (B) -  which according to the Officer at POE means I was granted a waiver by the US Consulate for incomplete inoculation record. To be honest I'm not sure about which vaccines were missing since I have my vaccine record and was only asked to get the flu shot, but maybe your husband will get some sort of waiver as well?  Hope everything goes well and he's able to get his visa soon.

My husband didnt have any vaccines and at the medical they only gave him 2 of the required/ recommended idk which.
I have had 8 vaccines at once. It just depends on what the doctor recommends and your comfort level with multiple vaccines at once. IMHO

They may have given two injections but it most likely was TDaP and MMR which is the equivalent of 6

YMMV

Probably. But there were some on the dept of state list that he didnt get.

The medical facilities contracted do not simple redo all possible vaccinations.  They apply their knowledge of local vaccination procedures and rely on verbal and visual information from the applicant.  (visual, like observing a small pox vaccination scar, etc.)

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

My husband won't have a problem getting them eventually. But right now he is between COVID vaccine shots #1 and 2. So, before the interview (which happens to be the day of the shot #2) he is not supposed to have ANY OTHER vaccines.
So I wonder what the medical suggestion will be from the physician.

Yeah idk. Maybe they will tell him to come back for vaccines. You dont absolutely have to have medical complete before interview.
