Have you tried emailing them?

What's the number u called?

Yes I did and they said the councilor section is currently not working. The last thing I read was the notice they supposedly place in the o server.

Ok well I'm f2b so probably that's the reason. They go by visa class.

So, I called the embassy on that same number. The lady said she doesn't know who advised of May because she doesn't even have access to know which DQ they're at and the embassy doesn't usually give out that information.

So idk if the person that told you May was right or if they just made up something to tell u.

I also called today. Both embassy and NVC. The embassy says that they are doing interviews that were already in line before the pandemic and proclamation. They haven't received any new case from nvc and they've been working only since April 01. The person at nvc says that as soon as the embassy in Jamaica start receiving cases, I'm in line for interview. My case status is still saying At the NVC so I'll just have to wait.

That's understandable we will all have different encounters and not everyone will give the same information in regards to the embassy. A few weeks ago I did stumble upon a YouTube video suggesting that they are working with DQ in may, another thing that raise questions are the differences in categories and it does create confusion.

I wasn't saying u were wrong hon, I'm saying maybe the person u spoke with got it mixed up or something. Cause remember the people who answer the phones are just agents. They're not the ones actually dealing with the cases and stuff so they could be wrong or misinformed. Cause there are many people with march and April dq and they haven't gotten an interview so that's why I said that.

We'll just have to wait and hear what the embassy says in their Live session this Wednesday. Hopefully it's not like every other one where they give us no information at all. I'm hoping they give us some actual numbers and DQ dates.
