Wasn't Chauvin convicted?  Btw, government oppression can come in many forms police brutality or over-reach being only one example.  Police still deserve due process unless you think the Feds should remove that right, and if there is evidence for a charge and a court determine a guilty verdict then the system is working, but not every use of force is murder or systemic racism, or whatever other narrative the Left/MSM/Dems are pushing to eliminate the police.  They will get their wish soon as there are police leaving in droves and a lot of help wanted signs out there for people that would rather not deal with the stress.

Due process would have been an independent investigation into the prior complaints about his behaviour when those happened.

A system that works would hold armed agents of the government to a high bar with serious accountability and responsibility, visibility and transparency.

This use of force was murder.

( Also i find it weird that you bundle left and dems, the democratic party is a right wing party and part of the the police brutality problem)

As to prior complaints, I really am not familiar with those, but I did hear the current chief of the Minneapolis police was in charge of the Internal Investigations, so you would have to ask him.  If you think the Democrat Party is a Right Wing Party, I guess I am missing something.

Another one in California, seems that the majority of these cases are in sold Dem areas.

Considering the Democrat Party is shifting further and further Left into the range of the former Communist Party of the USSR, I am not sure what your definition of Right Wing is.

These protesting clowns again don't consider consequences.

The best LEOs are leaving in droves.

Those left, and replacements who are somehow hired, are going to be distinct losers.

Guess how great police performance will be THEN?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Americans have no idea what "left" means.

You really need to start looking at other western countries and their political parties before making statements like that.

Who said our Parties have to mimic what is done in the EU countries that are destroying themselves.  Are the EU Leftist Parties advocating defunding/eliminating the police?

It's useful to post a link to the study that that "91%" number comes out of. (95% has also been bandied about.) There's a lot more to that number than that screaming graphic. I had to dig around and looked at articles posted on CNN, the Daily Caller, the Federalist and the Daily Signal. In the last three, there were links in those to ACLED itself, but finding a direct link to the study was harder.  It was right up front in the first paragraph of the CNN article (https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/04/us/blm-protests-peaceful-report-trnd/index.html). I eventually found it buried in the Federalist article (https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/), so good for them.

European police isn't highly militarized and isn't as dysfunctional, also European countries destroying themselves is a Newsmax/OANN talking point. I also didn't say leftist. I said left. Even a lot of European parties on the right are more to the left than democrats in the US.
