k-1 fiance case file pending

Hello everyone its my pleasure to be here and I am sure from the posts I have read that its a solution center for so many and my fiance and I wouldn't be an exception. The NVC approved our case and they were normally supposed to send it to the us embassy in Northern Cyprus but unfortunately it was sent to Greek Cyprus. Now the embassy made me to understand that its not their responsibility for me to cross from Turkish Cyprus to Greek Cyprus )buffer zone) and I had a email already from them containing the required documents and instructions, I filled the DS-160 form but unfortunately for me, when I called the doctor for my medical exam, she told me that the embassy asked her not to because I don't permission to cross. And the embassy here is currently closed without any hope of reopening soon due to covid-19 pandemic. Now my fiance and I want the case to be transferred to Lagos Nigeria because we have closed family members there and its visa free for us Cameroonians. Is this a good idea and if yes, then how do we go about it. Thank you all

Does your fiance have citizenship or legal resident status in Nigeria?  If not, there's no basis for a case transfer.

 

Why not request case transfer to the US embassy in Cameroon if your fiance is a citizen there?  According to the embassy website, they are processing K1 visas.
