Hi all,

 

USCIS is asking for feedback to identify barriers in the immigration process: please go to https://www.regulations.gov/document/USCIS-2021-0004-0001 and give your thoughts on current barriers and solutions.

 

Please go and give your comments! Some feedback that I provided:

- Long backlog

- Make reuse of biometrics the automatic norm

- Allow premium processing (but only if fee is high enough to provide additional resources to reduce general backlog)

- Scheduling system for applicants to schedule citizenship interview once eligible so that applicants can choose date, time and place instead of current system (Especially now that cases are being transferred between field offices - some applicants are better able to make the journey than others)
