Fiancé Unwell - Can I visit?!

Hello, I am in the UK and my fiancé is in the USA, he is unwell and is in hospital with heart issues. I need to get out there and be by his side, how can I get there I don’t know what to do? I know there is a travel ban in place but I was wondering if there is a way around this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use VWP to visit.  You will need yo spend 2 weeks in a non banned country first.  Mexico has been a popular country, but any non-banned country can work, as long as your subsequent flight to the US does not connect via a travel banned country.

NIW would be maybe possible I have no idea if they would accept a waiver or how long it would take to process.

 

Certain method would be 14 days in Mexico and then enter having quarantined.

If you can get a waiver to the travel restrictions from the UK, you may not be allowed in the hospital. Check with hospital policies. Having many medical issues lately, our covid screening always includes “Have you traveled internationally in the last 10 days?”  Chances are he won’t be in the hospital that long. Insurance boots you out pretty quickly. You might want to seek admission as the home health provider after hospital release.
