Hello

My husband is US citizen and he filed for me I130/CR1. NVC approved the petition. Later it was sent to USCIS for review. Now two days back I got an email from USCIS -it says ‘revoked the approval of our case’.
Am not sure why it got revoked as reasons are not provided. Kindly reply. What should be my next step.
Thank you

Apparently something was found at the NVC or consulate stage and it was sent back to USCIS.  Not a whole lot your husband can do right now other than to wait for the notice explaining the reasons.  He could contact his Senator's or Rep's office to see if they can get the reasons faster.

Good Luck!

Good Luck!

Senator will get the same message USC already has

That the peitition is revoked

Since this is from India it may be that the name matches another petiition already in the system as names are used over and over

and it gets confusing

The petition would have been approved by USCIS not NVC

At NVC stage - were there any issues with submitted documents?

Normally in this type of situation, the petition was incorrectly approved initially, without eligibility being met.

Thank you all for your reply. My husband texted me that he withdraw the case at this time. Am not sure why he withdrew. Nobody from his family are telling anything about it. Am worried what’s going on in their mind. Once his document was rejected later accepted by NVC.Not sure if that is the reason for revocation. As I have no way to find out. Am not sure what to do. Please reply. What rights do I have in such situation.

This sounds more like a marriage issue as opposed to an immigration issue.  If your husband decided to withdraw the I130, there must be a reason.  At this time given the information you shared, the only thing you can do is talk to your husband and determine what is going on with your marriage.

Good Luck!

If you mean rights related to US immigration, you have none.  The continuation of your CR1 process is dependent on your husband's willingness to sponsor you.  If he has truly decided to withdraw and has formally notified USCIS or NVC of his intention, then that's the end of your case.  Hopefully, you and your husband will be able to sort out whatever marital issues you may have that led to this situation.  Good luck to you.

You have no rights.

You need to talk to your husband.

Your husband withdrawing the I-130 is why the NVC revoked the case.  Withdrawing the I--130 mens the approved I-130 has to be revoked.

Unfortunately, none, and no path to US immigration without him sponsoring you.

Yes that’s true without him sponsoring for me I can’t go there. By rights I mean how to approach government over there or over here. If my husband is not willing to call me there or talk to me about it. Am not sure if he withdrew it or something else happened. As he texted me only. It’s not about just going there. It’s about my rights as a wife. I hope am making sense. Please  let me know what other option do I have besides texting , to approach him and his family there. Somebody should come forward but none has. Am tensed but I need to do something. I don’t want to trust them blindly. It’s been two years now and he just visited me once. Please reply. I don’t want to be in this weak position.

Sorry I didn’t say this before. Am in India. My husband is Indian born and he became US citizen two years back. No Sir divorce is no option. If anyone here from India would know why divorce is not an option. Am talking about other options to approach my husband and his family there in US to talk. What policies does government provide to wife in such scenario. Both US and Indian government. Am talking about approaching not immigrating. As from here I can only text my husband. They are many cases here in India were NRI husband doesn’t respond to Indian wife. I have been reading them but still need all your advice.

I am not aware of any government services available for someone in your situation.  I would continue to keep trying to open lines of communication with your husband even if it is just texting, or maybe through any mutual friends you may have.

Good Luck!

It really does look like a marriage issue. If your husband and his family do not respond to your texts or calls, then there doesn't seem like much else can be done.

I'm sorry for your situation.
