First I want to say I know compared to some peoples timelines ours may seem short however please keep in mind our case has been expedited with good reasons.

I am trying to find out any info about how long is "normal" wait time for a case that has already been expedited and is already at the embassy. Its been almost 4 weeks since it arrived at the embassy and we have not received anything from them for scheduling the interview. I have tried to contact them multiple times and still have yet to hear anything from them and I don't know what to do next?

This is a Spouse Visa for my Husband( I am USC) and the Embassy is Islamabad.

The reason for our expedite was I am living here in Pakistian with my husband and have been diagnosed with some pretty serious health issues( cancer type stuff) since living here.

We just need to get back as soon as possible but due to the severity of my health issues and everything happening with couples being separated I won't leave here with out my husband by my side. I am really frustrated with how little information about the status of the Islamabad embassy there seems to be and would be grateful for any helpful information.

I am sorry to hear that you are having health issues.  Even some expedited Pakistani cases can take a long time due to possible extended administrative processing requirements.  Personally, I would re-evaluate the "I won't leave here without my husband...." statement.  Good luck.  Best wishes.   I hope you get the health care you need soon.

There is no set time for an expedited application under normal times even less now.

And as has been mentioned you can not expedite AP so I would concur.

Considering the applicant is a male Pakistani, the word expedited does not mean what you might think.  The mandated extensive security checks don't even start until after a successful interview.  If the interview was today, you would likely still me several months away from visa issue.  Please factor that into your healthcare plans.

We just got our interview date for the end of May! So a little under 2 Months. Hopefully the approval will move quickly.  I know not everyone will agree with or understand why I won't leave without my husband but not looking for advise on my life choices I have my reasons and to me they are just as important as my health. Simply looking for info if people are actually getting interviews in Islamabad embassy especially if they are expedited cases  and if so how long after the expedite was approved everything took.
