Hello group!

First- time poster here!

I'm a US citizen married to a Peruvian citizen. We live in Peru, 6 years married. My husband was voluntarily deported after over a year living undocumented in the US - this happened before I knew him (we met in Peru). In July, he will have been out of the US for 10 years.

We'd like to apply for a tourist visa, because I'd love to show him around where I'm from. No plans to move to the US as of yet. Own our home and both work here in Peru.

Do we need to apply for the I-212 now that the 10 years have passed?

Anybody have a similar situation?

Thanks so much for your help!!

Does not sound like you have a ban, getting a tourist visa may be tricky.
