Cat in Sticky trap :( Help!

I came home from work to find that my poor cat is stuck in a spider sticky trap! It is on her back paws and tail. I have managed to pull that trap off her without too much of a fight, but now she is full of sticky goo. Anyone have a safe suggestion to help my poor cat? She is so upset, as am I.

Q: What do I do if the trap gets stuck on a pet, furniture, a rug etc?

A: Apply water to the trap surface to loosen it from pets, furniture, rugs etc. Check first to see if any Spiders or insects are stuck to the trap. You may want to kill spiders first before dealing with the trap being stuck to something.

Try rubbing vinegar on her, although she might get upset with the smell it's not like a removal product that's full of chemicals.

I threw the package away some time ago, but I think it was JA Eaton -- or something like that. Even though she is all sticky she has gone to hide under my desk as I type.

I found them on a website---it says they are non poisonous. thank God. I think I am going to have to wait until DH gets home to help me get her in the tub with that water, vinager and what about veggie oil or something like that?
