RFIE - birth certificate

Hi to all!

sorry to bother but I have a huge doubt.

I received a request for initial evidence for the beneficiary birth certificate in my aos application.

Problem is I’ve sent my birth certificate (estratto di nascita) which display date and place of birth and my parents’ names.

Have i sent the wrong one? Did they just lost it?

(for reference, I’m from Italy and my husband is USC. I’m adjusting from an esta).

Thank you in advance!

I have sent a certified transaltion.

For the original, all the documents in the applications are copies. Specifically, this one is an official document that is released in pdf format from my municipality, I don't own the original from my birth.

It has the seal of the municipality and so forth.

Probably this is the problem.

Why you don't have the original?

You need to show the original.

Filing AOS you often miss this because the embassy provides it.

Every country is listed.

Dont know what this all means, but this is what you are supposed to submit.  From this it seems you submitted the correct document. Can you obtain the longer version?

Yes, that’s what I’ve submitted, the version with my parent’s names. I’ve checked the same website before to be sure.

I’m trying to get the Atto di Nascita, but I’m not sure they will give it to me since usually it’s used just for the adoptions.

Maybe they just lost it perhaps?

The first time there was a clerical mistake, so they’ve sent the application back and all the documents were mixed up and all of our marriage licenses were no were to be found, so we had to add it again (hence why no original in this stage 😂).

It’s a possibility.

Plan A chase the long form, if you can get it submit a copy with translation.
Plan B resubmit the same form with the translation, and I’d print out that DOS note with a question about what the requirements are.

Whatever you do submit something before the RFE expires.

Yes, the idea was to submit all 3 forms with that dos note and my parent’s affidavit, minus plus the atto integrale. Also, it’s on their own website the fact that usually an atto integrale is for adoptions or legitimacy of a child.
Yes, we still have something like 80 days but I want it do it ASAP.

Yep, you submitted the correct form.

Best of luck to you guys.  See this pretty often, it’s frustrating
