In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

What @Lucky Cat list is probably the best guide and it appears to be recently updated with the I-944 crossed off.  However, the links provided to the I-485 and I-864 at the USCIS website appear to be broken.  To get those forms, only use the USCIS web-site to get any forms that you will use for this process.  Ive seen a number of people posting here that their original paperwork submission was declined as they were using out of date forms.  Any form that you use, always double check the Expiration date in the upper right corner of the document.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Your husband should have done that before y'all got married. Now you'll do it with the AOS. You should also file for his EAD.

You, likely, have no basis on which to apply for a SSN now if your I-94 has expired....other than requesting one on the I-765 for an EAD (as part of the adjustment of status package)

I see you were approved a year ago so presume you entered some time back?

Have him go get the SSN right away then.  Call the local SS office.  Use the search function here as the details/guide/issues of getting an SSN have been discussed several times.  We just got ours and everything we needed to know is here.

Same with how to file for AoS.  The guide here will help you.  Also google will help you find some other third party guides.
