You may come up with another issue before even making it to the interview.

The doctors in Canada will not complete/pass the medical without the vaccines being done before the medical. Some doctor's do offer them at the medical but not all. So you need to find out from who ever you're going to have your medical with what you need to be exempt before even making it to your interview. They will not in any way forward your medical until all vaccines are done.

Thank you, I thought I remembered there was another hurdle.  Do you remember any applicants from Canada successfully immigrating without the vaccines?

I've only ever saw one person ask about. No idea if they tried to get a waiver or what happened.

Well there was that Canadian lady a few months back who did not seem to realise what was involved, I did not know there was a particular issue in Canada.

Not true. I read the vaccination portion of the panel physician guide book (screenshot attached).

@Ontarkie spoke from experience - you'll need to explain it to the panel physician.

please keep us updated on how the waiver process worked in Canada, it will be useful all to know (about possible delays, or extra steps, at the medical or interview, and then how long before approval, and visa issuance).

I know the Doctor's in Canada will not release the medical unless all vaccines are up to date. It's a Canadian only issue. You need to talk to them about getting a waiver before you get to that point or your medical will not make it to the interview.

Not really surprising, Canada is the only other country that is as strict as it is with domicile too.

I do not know, have no come across this but domicile varies and of course is sort of subjective so room for interpretation, not sure how this is.
