hi I'm new to all this so I'm sorry if I should be posting this somewhere else but I'm not too sure how to navigate this website.

 

my fiancé and I are filling out our form i-129f and I've come across question 37 and 38.

question 37 is a check the box on whether you have been to the US before. I checked yes as I visited Orlando in 2018.

question 38 says to fill out the following if the beneficiary is CURRENTLY in the US. however the USCIS instructions contradict this and say to include your I-94 if you've ever been in the US.

 

my question is do I fill out question 38's fields asking for I-94 number etc or do I leave it blank?

 

again I'm very sorry if this has been asked before or I'm posting this in the wrong place

CURRENTLY is the key word.......Do not answer 38.a-38.h if you are not currently in the US.  These forms are literal in nature.  Good luck.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you so much , I have wrote N/A on that section but should I still include a copy of my I-94 in my visa packet ?

Only if they are currently in the usa.   Again,  follow directions literally.
