Hey! Did you get DQ this year, 2021? I was DQed on 27th of May 2021(Amsterdam embassy), but I never got emails with 60 days or 120 days, but it is almost 3 months of wait and no any updates. Hope that soon it starts moving somehow. Mostly  during July and August consulates were busy with student visas :(

Most of us here DQ is from 2020. I dont know how is it in Amsterdam but probably the same. In such case you have to wait some time, maybe not like most of us more than year but it’s not gonna be fast. There is also one video few pages back going through most countries which period are they working on.

Hi Hanna,

I have set my next reminder in October. I have inquired at the NVC why my husband’s DQ date is set March ‘20  instead of January ‘20 - so far I have not heard anything. If I hear anything I will update my post- otherwise waiting till the next 60 day letter at this point 😴

hope that you will get email with interview date soon. By the way, if you are in US, it is better to call to NVC. You will get faster answer  than to wait answer via email. It took 1.5 hour to be on hold for me to reach the nvc officer. Good luck!

Yes. My wife's case:

DQ'ed 28th of May, 2021

Embassy that will be handling her interview: Kyiv (Ukriane)

Received 60 day notice on August 25th, 2021

Priority Date: October 3, 2019

Case is still with NVC

The notice however explicitly says "The next communication you receive from NVC will be either a notice that your appointment is scheduled, or if an appointment is not scheduled within the next 60 days, we will send a notice confirming that your case is still in line for an interview." So no guarantee that she will get an interview in 60 days. I am mentally ready to wait for a year, but really hoping for faster. It is already almost 2 years since we filed I-130 with USCIS. Tough to be apart.

I have heard on several occasions from immigration attorneys on youtube that if your case is taking too long it is good to have some proof of communication with NVC. Because if the case is idle for 1 year or something it gets closed or abandoned. So in case if they accidentally close the case you would like to have some written communication that you have been doing some inquiries. So I think having some email inquiry would be good as a precaution.

Thanks for advice, I did once inquiry. If my case takes longer, defiantly I will send again questions to NVC 😀 Just to remind about myself :)))

Good luck to you, hope that soon your wife joins you in US. It is a nightmare that people have to wait so long.

Update on my brother's interview.

I sent this message to the support center.
3. Visa category: F22

4. Date of your last interview: 8/27/2021

5.What were the last instructions you received:
Drop off passport to Cargo Expreso when medical exam in completcompleted

6.prority date: 11/30/2017

7. Relationship between the petitioner and the beneficiary: FATHER AND SON
8. Name of the petitioner:
9. Legal Status of the petitioner: LPR
10. Date  of medical examinations: September 14th, 2021.

"Hello,  I received a letter in the interview that all I need is to drop off my passport to Cargo Expreso after my medical exam is complete. When I log on to ceac.state.gov it States my application is incomplete and is requesting an   I-864EZ. I have already submitted a Joint sponsor and was verified during the interview and it does meet the requirements.  I uploaded my father's I-864 with an explanation letter why he cannot meet the above poverty letter. Could the I864EZ form request be an error? I already have a joint sponsor.
Thank you in advance for your help. "

Do I still have to submit I-864EZ even with a Joint sponsor? Or is this an error from the system.  So lost now.

They are asking for I864EZ. Petitioner doesn't qualify and already uploaded documents explaining that. Plus we got a joint sponsor so I believe we don't need a I864EZ.
