My wife and I went through boundless for our i-130 petition for alien relative. We sent our packet with all the info to the texas based po box we were told to.  It's been 3 weeks we filed march 23rd it should have been there no later then march 26th. However uscis has not cashed the 535$ check yet, no response ethier. Is this normal? I was considering paying boundless for a reprint and sending the packet through another mail service we originally used ups, I'm worried they don't have our packet.

Notifications are taking a month or more......just be patient.  Is your wife in the US right now?

In the time of covid? As close to normal as normal gets. There have been plenty of delays all around, and I've seen loads of people in this position.

Did you get tracking on the package? If yes, does it show delivered? I think trying again at this point would probably just cause delay/confusion. Best you can do right now is wait, I think.

Good luck!

Patience......patience.

Currently, it is taking USCIS 2-3 months to cash checks and issue receipts.

I only know of one individual who got it within a month, luck, I guess. (Sent in late February 2021 or early March and got receipts in April 2021)

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Do you mean USPS?

The P.O Box address is only for USPS mail.  UPS and FedEx has to be sent to the physical address.

Quote

FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

USCIS
Attn: I-130
2501 S. State Hwy, 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

https://www.uscis.gov/i-130-addresses

I assume you have your UPS tracking number.  Have you checked?

Also, for I-130 you could have filed online.  Do you have a copy of the filled out forms?  If it is lost, then I would not pay boundless to re-print it.  I would just enter the information via online.

No unfortunately we didn't know anything about the immigration system so we married right away in her country instead of a fiance visa also does that mean they won't be processing our packet at this time? Like we have to wait the month + normal processing times?

1. This is very normal - especially during COVID19 times

2. Fill out your timeline to get more specific answers, should you have any in the future

3. You are very early in the process. Prepare youself for a long journey - be patient and stay determined!

What does boundless mean in this case?

It's a private company: https://www.visajourney.com/partners/boundless-immigration/

No unfortunately we didn't know

It's too late now, but Online filing at uscis.gov results in way faster Receipt notice. Now at this time it's best to wait for the process you already sent-in (i.e. the paper-filing) to avoid complicating matters.

While it may have been unfortunate that you were not aware of the online filing option, you should not consider yourselves unfortunate for marrying, instead of pursuing a fiancee visa.  I and many other VJ members consider that, for most couples, the spouse visa is far superior over the fiancee visa.  Also, in this COVID era, it's very possible that getting a spouse visa would be the faster route to reuniting in the US.

Was able to talk to USCIS this week about my wife being declared "unable to verify Lawful Presence" and asked them about the check and the NOA.  Explained about all the problems we have encountered and the response was that they are working on a huge backlog and it will take at least 60 days to receive a notification.   So if you can track your package and know they got it sit back and wait.

We received the paper copy of the receipt notice on 4-19-21. It's at the Potomac Service Center. I also received a notice to sign up for the online account. I did that. Hopefully the process will go a little faster. Now we are exercising patience. Have you received anything yet?
