Look at the " Case Type" on your receipt. What does it say? Does it say I-751 or I-485? Let us start from there to figure out exactly what you are going to the interview for

I-751 is not "for a green card".  Your wife should already have a green card.  She is removing conditions on her resident status.  If you have been called for an interview, I suspect you filed with too little evidence, then you received an RFE.  You responded but they still don't have enough to make a decision, and called you for an interview.  This is not really rare, but it doesn't happen very often.  You interpreting for your wife is not a good idea.

No rfe ever during process. Just couldn’t explain this correctly from the beginning. I still don’t fully understand the whole thing.

anyway...... yes i-751 for removing conditions. We got called for an interview. My real question is what to expect from the interview and what kind of questions they ask? Also whether or not to get an interpreter? because I will be present she can speak and understand to an extend but by no means is she fully fluent.

Perhaps you were randomly selected for an interview.  I haven't heard of that.  They'll be asking questions about your life, relationship, living situation etc.  If you have a child together born in the USA, that's nice relationship evidence.  If your relationship is genuine, I wouldn't expect any problem, but yes, do bring an interpreter.

Alright thanks for the heads up. 2 things. 1. Are we in the same room or different rooms? We do have a child together we plan on bringing our kid.

 2. I also have another friend who didnt receive rfe and still being interviewed. I think its happening more often now because conditional visas for young people are normal. They want more proof after the two year

Usually, you would be in the same room, but they can also separate you for what is called a "stokes interview".  Google it.

An i751 interview is set up to test you and your spouse knowledge of your marital relationship, how much do you and your spouse know about the details of your marriage, where did you meet, who proposed to who, where are you living, where have you lived together, when are your birthdays, when did you get married, have you met each others family, what are each others jobs, who pay for what and so on.

You will want to coordinate your answers so you both know the correct dates of events, names of relatives, job titles, trips taken together, how much money you make as a couple….

What is asked depends a lot on the evidence you have provided or the lack of evidence provided.

Bring a translator for your spouse as she needs to understand questions clearly to respond correctly and it would be best if it is not seen that you are answering in her place, also you may be separated during the interview.

Also the i751 interview is a good opportunity to submit further evidence of a bona fide marriage not already submitted, new joint tax returns, additional joint bills, joint banking statements, 401k, insurance, joint leases….

It would be a good idea to bring a copy of the evidence you already submitted in case it is not available to the officer interviewing you.

Since 2018, everyone who hasn't had an interview within the US for their first greencard automatically gets an interview for the ROC instead (a few exceptions to this "new" rule because of the pandemic, but quite rare). Since OP came on a spousal visa s/he wasn't interviewed in the US before, and therefore got an interview for ROC.

my husband, our daughter, and I went to the ankara embassy together. We had to wait outside for about 1 1/2 hour while my husband went for his interview inside. They will not allow you to go inside. this was back in 2017. Now especially with covid, I highly doubt they will let you in with your spouse.

We do plan on bringing the documents. Who can be the translator? Also any suggestions on where to get one? Its only because we are not 100%z she can speak ok and understand to an extend (listening) but, i would not say she is fluent.
