I received this email this morning:

Thank you for your interest in immigrating to the United States of America. The Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) received your approved immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC's role is to ensure you are prepared for your immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General, and to schedule your interview appointment.

NVC is responsible for collecting any applicable fees, the Immigrant Visa Application, supporting civil documents, police certificate(s), Affidavits of Support, and financial documents, if applicable, prior to your visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Do not mail documents to NVC, even if you received instructions to mail documents to NVC in the past.

You will need to log on to the Department of State's Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) at https://ceac.state.gov/IV to check your case status, pay any necessary fees, upload and submit documents, and read messages from NVC.

If you are logging into CEAC for the first time, please be aware that it can take up to three days (72 hours) from receipt of this notice for your account to be activated. Once activated, you can log into CEAC using the following unique NVC case number and Invoice Identification Number.

However, when I log in the website it's greyed out and I'm not able to click anything. I'm the unmarried daughter of a US citizen for some background.

The email you posted states "if may take up to 3 days from receipt of this notice for your account to be activated."

Wait 3 days and try again.

I figured so, just wanted feedback. Thank you.

That is a bit strange.  Wanting feedback for not following instructions, that is.

The immigration process is long, and there are actual delays and abnormal processing times.  We try to help each other when faced with these situations or when there are things we don't understand.  Not reading what USCIS/NVC/DOS tells you and asking others about it is not very helpful.  Patience is required, and not waiting a few days as explained will make the wait more frustrating.  There are enough factors outside your control to stress you out during this difficult period without manufacturing your own.

The people here on VJ do a fantastic job helping others in the community with issues and questions.  And I hope that after you complete your immigration that you stick around and offer some advise and information as well.  Hang in there, take it day by day, and it will be over.  Well, at least until the next part of the process...

What I mean by feedback I meant a second opinion. I knew it was 72hrs for activation, but I also saw people saying theirs never activated. This is my very first time and there's lots of infos and it can be very confusing at times.

I don't understand the passive aggressive remarks. Thank you anyways.

I got that letter as well from NVC and I was able to login with my credentials provided. Your priority date on your application will determine when more steps are allowed to go forward on your case. It is a very very frustrating wait time given the number of years it takes for them to process the visa given the framework set out by the INA. Just being patient is our best attribute to get through this whole process. I have found tons of information here that helps beginners like myself but it would be really good if someone could create a calculator that shows when one's priority date will become current (maybe out there already, idk).
