hello I would like to petition for my parents green card.i am us citizen.my knowledge about the whole process is minimum so I have some doubts.i really apologize if someone has answered these questions earlier but I have not found any such link so far which answers all of my questions.

1-how long does uscis takes to approve I-130?

2-how long does NVC takes to contact us after I-130 gets approved by USCIS?

3-how long does NVC whole process takes and how long does NVC take to send our case to foreign US EMBASSY?

4-finally how long does US embassy takes to contact us after receiving case from NVC?

5-once embassy receive  our case how long normally do they take to process parents visa petition/case?

5-does USCIS or NVC count petitioner's income before petitioner or sponsor have paid any taxes in US?

6-is it mandatory to purchase insurance before parents receive visa?is embassy/consulate are asking proof of insurance at time of interview nowadays?

7-what is total cost of whole process from filling I-130 to receiving green card?

if anybody put up rough timeline with their experience then it will be beneficial I apologize for any inconvenience

You file two I-130 petitions (1 per parent). I recommend to file online: https://www.uscis.gov/i-130 You should have the option of working on 2 "drafts" in the online account.

Leave the following fields completely blank:
