Just got a I693 deficiency note in the mail!
No biometrics scheduled yet.

Does this mean anything in terms of how fast/slow the biometrics or interview will happen?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. It was months between them for me.

4 months maybe? I sent 2 AR-11s and they still sent the bio to the old address but the said to just take the bio letter to the new ASC with proof of the new address. Same date/time as the original.

We got the notification for Biometrics Appointment on 07/07/2021.

Things are moving in the right direction.

That's really good news. Did you got a letter in the mail with your appointment or how did you find out?

My wife if very good at not responding to those things.

Since I am bot good with "abbreviations" , what is ASC and PD?

ASC is the "USCIS Application Support Center" your biometrics appointment is in (and if you don't change your address, most likely your interview as well).

PD is the "Priority Date" you were assigned on your I-485 Notice of Action (NOA).

ASC -  is Birmingham, Alabama. Good thing I live just a few miles South of town.

PD - No date on the I-797C

Hey guys , just got an update on my case tracker i was sent an request for initial evidence. Does anyone know if I can view it online or if it is for the i693?

I filed late April and received the notices and texts already a while back . Thanks !

It's probably not for the I-693 because I also received the I-693 deficiency notice, but my USCIS online acocunt doesn't reflect any request for evidence.  You'll probably have to wait for something to arrive in the mail.

Okay, thanks ! Any idea if the request for evidence slows down the process a lot or not ?
