IV Packets 3 and 4

I just received from NVC my CR-1 interview date at the Embassy.

I have read about Packets 3 and 4 and viewed samples of these "letters".

I do not understand though if these are just checklists to prepare for the interview date of if I'm supposed to send them or something back to the Embassy prior to the interview date.

Will these packets/letters 3 and 4 be something I receive soon from the Embassy now that my case has been transferred to them?

And again, most importantly, do I only need to be sure my docs are prepared as such and bring it all with me or do I need to send something to the Embassy prior to the interview date?
