Hi guys!

After 250 days since our PD we were approved today.

PD 13 May 2021.

Actively reviewing on Oct 14 2021 and again today on 18 Jan. Logged into our USCIS account and found the approval in the documents section.

We submitted a K3 in October - I don't think it affected our processing time as a few people with cases around our PD have also been approved. However a lot of people say it helps.

Good luck to the rest of you! and thanks to all the members in this thread for sharing your timelines :) Much love

Congratulations 🎊 so happy for you!

Congratulations. It's great to see Vermont is starting to move again as felt like it really slowed down over Christmas.

Hi all, I received approval 😀 yesterday (15th Feb) after 253 days from our PD of 7th June and 103 days since it was first active reviewed (4th November). My timeline looks very similar to others recently approved at Vermont at around the 250 days mark. Good luck to everyone else waiting for theirs to come through.

Congratulations!! 😀 Great news! Our PD is May 20th 2021, our case has not been updated since then. Our lawyer is preparing an I129f for us now, hopefully that will help speed things up a bit. Our landlord is wanting to sell the apartment we live in asap, so we suddenly had a little more pressure added.

No, the status haven't changes since May, it's still Case received and notice sent. My wife is a USC petitioning for me and my son. We're in Norway.

When was the last time you checked if you were in Vermont? Have you chatted with Ask Emma on the uscis site lately?

Our receipt said Nebraska, but when we sent a message back in August they replied with Vermont. We have tried to get a hold of them through Ask Emma, but when we did they said we had to call to get more information about our case. We have tried calling but it won't let us through even with 'live agent' 'info pass' 'technical issue/problem'. We have sent a new message through the inbox, but no reply yet.

Pretty sure you already tried this but:

  • Dial the number 1-800-375-5283
  • Press 1 – for the English language. Press other numbers for other languages.
  • Press 1 – check the status of your case/application.
  • Press 2 – if you can’t locate your receipt number.
  • Press 2 – talk to a customer service representative.

Thank you. I am hoping the next stage goes quicker 😀. I was actively reviewed twice, we got the first actively reviewed in November and then I got actively reviewed notification through the case tracker iPhone app on Tuesday so signed in and the approval document was there but the website status was still staying actively reviewed. I then got an approved notification on Wednesday through the case tracker iPhone app.

That's the way it was for us.  Actively reviewed once.  Then the 2nd actively reviewing followed by approval the next day.  Yay!!  NVC seems to be moving within normal parameters at the moment.  Good luck to you both! :)

I am hoping the NVC review time improves over the coming months as not looking forward to sitting in another queue 😀

It was 3 months to get DQed at NVC for us.  They say to wait 90 before calling about your case and that's about what our timeframe was.  The date we got DQed was also right in line with the dates of cases they said they were processing at the time on this site, so I think it's a good indicator:  https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

:)
