I'm sure they'll be fine as long as they stay out of the touristy areas. They'll be with their dad who grew up there right? I think they're only looking for foreign tourists...like obvious foreign tourists.

in which case i'm screwed when i go to alex !!!

Yes, surely suicide bombers usually target foreign, not their own people. And for sure they will be in the care of their father, but still I worry. I talked to my ex about the situation, and mostly all he had to say was F**king sh!t Jews did it. So ye, no intelligent input there.

And Doodle, there is a 1001 ways to not make yourself look like a foreigner... esp in MENA where women mostly can blend it (wink wink) so I would not worry at all.

God love my husband I just called to see how he's doing and I asked if he's heard the news and he said, "yes alhumdulilah my team went in overtime and won a big match today but I could not see it 'cause I was busy looking for our flat"

I'm not overly worried since it's not likely that it will happen again in that short of time. Plus, they will be with their dad and his family in Ebb not in Sana'a or any other tourist area.

Thank God my ex is more open minded. That kind of attitude would drive me nuts.

My husband used to be more political minded...but this whole process has really beaten him down. I'm the one the gets bent out of shape about world politics. He just wants to get his Visa so we can all be together and settle down and mind his own business.

He still has a sister that is stuck in Gaza. They worry about her alot. His whole family is just so tired of the politics and the fighting.

I do think that SOME of the anger these radicals have is justified (hence US involvement in ME), but there is absolutely NO EXCUSE to take innocent lives. It all makes me very sad. It's just a continous vicious circle. :(
