After more than 3 months since NVC sent our paperwork to the Embassy, we finally got the K1 packet today! There is hope!

Yes, it appears that a batch has started working its way through processing.  Our "missing" case sent from the NVC on Feb 3 just showed up with a Ready status today in the CEAC tracker

I was able to reschedule to June 7, so I hope that one sticks.

@Steve and Nicha how did you reschedule? We just scheduled our interview through the official system and it is two months out. Did you contact the Embassy directly? Thanks.

I just kept logging in and click “reschedule” on the left.  You can do that without risking your current position.  It will bring

up the calendar. Two days after scheduling my original appointment, I saw an earlier date appear and rescheduled to that date.

@Steve and Nicha good luck tomorrow! Keep us posted on how it goes.

Thank you!  My fiancé was approved!  Our interview date was originally cancelled for May 18 and we were worried it would get cancelled again.  But everything worked out.

That's awesome. Congrats, @Steve and Nicha!  Please keep us posted on when she receives her passport back with visa. That will help others with their planning. Also, what did she bring for the GLOBAL SUPPORT STRATEGY (GSS) registration confirmation? We cannot for the life of us figure out what that confirmation page is or where to find it, even though we've already registered on USTravelDocs and have made an appointment. Thanks.

I believe the GSS confuses everybody.  But I noticed that the appointment confirmation printout showed the bar code that they asked for as well as the address to send the visa.  Therefore, everything the GSS described as needed was on the appointment confirmation.  So we just assumed that was the GSS and had no problem.  I will update when we actually receive the visa.  They said it would take about a week.

Thanks for confirming that. That is really helpful. The guidance from the Embassy is super unclear. Someone really needs to update that. You would think that it would take a lot less time than having to read all of the emails from people who are confused and seeking clarity.

Congratulations!  We had another delay - never received a confirmation email directly, but the embassy finally answered with a claim they had sent it over a week ago so we're able to schedule an interview now.  Interview dates are currently available starting mid-August. 🙁

That stinks about the delay. I would suggest scheduling the earliest interview date now and then checking back several times a day to reschedule. @Steve and Nicha gave us that advice and after scheduling a late July appointment, we found one for late June and were able to reschedule. I'm guessing they release spots as people cancel.

Thanks, we're planning to do that but there's some additional friction to the process.  For some reason, my fiancée has problems with the login at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com - the captcha validation fails.  I've watched her  attempts via video - everything looks OK but no amount of cache clearing, re-authentication, etc. will allow her to log in.  This means we have to collaborate in real time with me driving from my side.

I am looking forward to never visiting  https://cgifederal.secure.force.com  or https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx again after this process is over!

Have you tried on your computer? You can login for her and schedule it together.

Yes - that's what I meant by "driving by my side".  With the time difference it is just inconvenient to check for new openings and reschedule as a team.

Perhaps you can get her pre-clearance on dates/times that will work so that you can also search without her during the day here.

I also recommend that.  My fiancé has a flexible work schedule in Thailand.  So there was no limit on when I could schedule an interview.  I checked the embassy website before bed (in the U.S.) when the embassy opens and when I wake up (just after the embassy closes) and found an earlier date around 6am central time.
