Awaiting interview at Montreal embassy

Hello

on august 8,2020, I received an update from NVC that nvc will schedule an interview for my parents at Montreal embassy for immigration visits that I (US citizen) filed on their behalf . We have not heard anything since then . I understand that interviews were not being scheduled due to presidential proclaimation. Has anyone got an interview date recently from Montreal embassy ? What was your priority date ? Just trying to get an estimated waiting time . Also where /how do I follow up on approximate timeline?

I saw one person who had an interview scheduled that was cancelled get rescheduled.  I have not seen anyone who hasn't had an original interview get scheduled yet from Montreal, other countries I've seen though.  I think Montreal is still only doing a few hours of interviews daily and it's all visa types, so the backlog is probably long.  What is your priority date?  Mine is June 2019.  I'm early 2020 on DQ.

July 25 - Biometrics Appointment Letter

July 28 - Walk in Biometrics successful

Aug 27 - Request for Expedite on EAD (Job Offer)

Sept 12 - EAD approved and in production

Sept 12 - AP is approved but USCIS status is in 'Post Decision Activity'

Sept 18 - EAD marked as mailed

2015

April 09 - Interview - Delayed due to sealed package from civil surgeon not at local office

May 07 - GC in production

May 18 - GC in hand!!!

2017

Feb 9 - ROC 

Feb 14 - Check Cashed

Feb 16 - NOA 1

Feb 25 - Received Biometrics Appointment

2018

April 10 - N400 Application

April 29 - Biometrics

January 29 - Combo Interview / Recommendation for Approval 

February 20 - Oath Ceremony - NATURALIZED

My parents were DQd November 2020. 
priority date January 2020

 

also waiting for interview in Montreal! Hopefully we see some movement as Canada opens up more

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!
