To Carriep's question about interviews, it seems at least one person on VJ listed that they had their interview on April 30 and that it was granted (congrats!), so I take it that means some interviews are still happening despite the lockdown? Maybe K1 is now considered mission critical? If anyone has more definite info, I'd appreciate it as well!

Thanks! K1s are mission critical, but it depends on local conditions. Currently, the COVID situation in India is really bad so embassy has closed as of May 1. We were lucky that they honored our appt on April 30. We had everything done and were sitting in Mumbai when the cancellation notices went out on April 29.

Thank you all. I FInally submitted my DS160 and paid the fees. It took me to a page to book Vac appointments - it shows one appoint for mumbai in December!

We're in the same position. I'm hoping some sooner appointments might get posted once the consulate reopens (whenever that might be).

Long time since I've been here. 

 

Currently I am still waiting for my EAD,AP and AOS Interview. I submitted my docs in sep and got an RFE in december.

We submitted the AOS, EAD, and AP applications in October. My husband had his biometric appointment in early November. We got an RFE for the AOS application in mid-November. Nothing else since then...still anxiously awaiting the EAD and AP.

So we are in the same boat 😭 I have an offer which I am not able to accept. My tried to expedite my ead but it’s been 25 days and no response.

 

on the other hand, I see people applying for green card in Jan-feb and already received green card.

Hello, I am looking for some advice. US embassy in Mumbai says they are still waiting for our Physical application, and have only received the electronic application. Ice tracked with DHL and it says it was delivered on may 4th. NVC says similar things. Any advice why the embassy is saying they haven't received it?
