The facts behind the development of a recent and totally false 60 Minutes piece about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis keep getting worse.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Will be interesting to see whether 60 Minutes says anything (partial retraction or doubling down) on their upcoming Sunday-night show.  However, someone else will have to report here about that, because I'll be watching AFV, or nothing at all if AFV is pre-empted.
