Hi all, I sent my packet out on March 11 and it was delivered to the lockbox on the 12th. I just received my text with WAC number last night (April 5)! Very excited. Is this considered my NOA1? Anything I need to do now to track or just wait at this point. Thanks!

Congrats! Yes, but the date of your NOA1 should be that on which the packet was received and signed for at the lockbox - so the 12th. Now it's just a waiting game :)

The official NOA1 is the paper copy you will receive in the mail

YMMV

Start a timeline and enter the relevant dates. You’ll be able to track estimated approval dates.

Congratulations!!

Thank you! What relevant dates are you referring to? Now that the NOA1 is March 12 when it was received in the lockbox, I'm assuming it's a good 6 months at least for them to review and and approve and finally send to my fiance's country for the biometric screening and interview?

Fiance is in Ireland.

Dublin hasn't done a routine k1 interview in over a year.  Quite a backlog exists

Click on my timeline to get an idea. It’s nice to have an approval estimation date. Of course that is subject to change, but will give you some idea. Country specific timelines are even more relevant.  Take a look.

What country specific timelines are you talking about?

I believe somewhere in the timeline area of the site you can select to view timelines for others of a given country. For example I can see other timelines specific to Russia.

Ireland is just now starting to trickle non-CR1/IR1 interviews, but it's entirely working through cases that were already at the embassy before lockdown started (and I believe Milligan v Pompeo cases, but don't quote me on that).

All of us waiting are hoping that things will pick back up once the lockdowns are eased, because the embassies were using Level 5 as a reason to not conduct any interviews (despite INIS doing them) until, as I understand it, enough people raised a stink that they got us to where we are now.

Filling in your timeline and information will give you access to the Ireland Portal (can be found otherwise by clicking on the irish flag in this post) on top of the estimations that Caboose was talking about.

Welcome to this process, and good luck in your journey!
