Googling many of them on the first page and nothing in their bio's indicate that they are in the field of public health or epidemiology, even though the Barringting page has them listed as such.

Seems to be a lot of people with medical backgrounds with overlap in statistics, economics and management. Nothing wrong with that, I have done some biostatistics research myself years ago and also worked in infection control for a while. None of that makes me an epidemiologist.

So just keep toeing the Fauci line.  Infallibility comes to mind.

I saw people die because of people not taking it seriously and thinking it was all a hoax.

If you ever manage to survive COVID out of an ICU after months, left a broken shell of something that is somewhat human, I think many would say the disease is far greater.

And if you are dead from a PE because you are too scared to go to the hospital, you are just dead.

Too scared to go to a hospital? Well that's ultimately the choice of that person, isn't it? I'm sorry that they made a bad decision, but it was their decision.

So that is a choice, good to see you blame that one on personal choice even after all the fearmongering from the MSM, the likes of Fauci, the Democrats, etc.  Who would ever want to go to a hospital, a petri dish of Covid19 since as you say, that disease is worse.

I rarely even comment on Dr Fauci, except to correct misinformed people. I don't think I'm the one who has an issue with all this. I can understand the science and details behind what any of them are saying and I can also look at their backgrounds and know where they are coming from. It's all transparent.

Dr Fauci doesn't gain anything from having restrictions in place. It's his job as a public health expert to use the information at hand to help save lives. That's not the day job of many of the people on your list. Many of those people aren't real, as Yuna said. Many who are real had a vested interest in the economic side of opening up without regard to the public health costs. Simple as that.

So how many lives did Fauci save when he told people not to wear masks?  Btw, Fauci, being a career bureaucrat does have a vested interest in maintaining his power when those opportunities come up.

Regardless there are epidemiologists that disagree with the Almighty Fauch and his ever changing target of herd immunity.

I never saw anyone during the entire height of the pandemic fearmonger that a person should never take themselves to a hospital if they did not require it. Not from any doctors I am familiar with, personal doctors, family members, news media, Fauci (why does he keep coming up when I haven't even mentioned the man), even local politicians! If anything weekly press conferences encouraged citizens to get to a hospital or doctor if they needed. And for those that needed to talk to a doctor, the state worked very quickly to enable telemedicine as a standard practice. My mom can now speak to her doctor and oncologist every month by phone or PC whenever she needs. I took my own father in seriously ill condition to the hospital when there was no mask mandate and people barely knew anything about COVID. Was he scared? Yes. But I wasn't about to let his foolishness cause his death. They did everything in their power to keep him safe and isolated. I also went to the hospital last year when everyone was masked up and taking the proper precautions. It was fine.

The fearmongering was about catching the Covid, and what better place to catch it than at a hospital.  Not really sure that telemedicine works for a medical emergency, but whatever, keep the narrative going and toe the line from Old Joe and his even older expert that loves being on the television.

Politics are not solely the Democrats/Republicans, in the case of Fauci, and the new CDC director, that sometimes speaks as the director, and other times as a mother, they see a certain amount of power with their positions, and we all know what happens when people gain power.  Fauci himself admitted to dumbing down messages for political purposes (I assume to keep the hoi polloi in line), but I really wonder if anyone is actually listening to him anymore (actually it is hard to hear him speak now with his multiple masks covering his mouth even though he is fully vaccinated).  Btw, there are many prominent medical experts out there.

Okay do you have some prominent experts in virology that claim Fauci is being power driven and wrong about Covid?

Already presented.  Choose to believe what you want, but Fauci is now just a political advisor, not the head of a public health bureaucracy.
