Question about the SS card

Greetings!

My wife received her 10 year GC 3 weeks ago. She has her SS card and has had it since arriving here in January 2019. My question is, do we need to notify SS of her change of status?

You can, but she doesn't have to.  She needs to if / when she naturalizes.
